Whittguard Security Services began by owner, Lt. Jim Whitt, in 2004 and is considered to be a leader in providing security needs while committed to the highest standards of quality and integrity in our products and services. Catering to the business needs of Lorain and Cuyahoga County, Whittguard Security has provided security services in the industries of apartment and condominium complexes, schools, marinas, manufacturing, construction, retail, industrial complexes and automobile dealerships. Our supervisors are available 24-hours a day—they visit sites each shift to inspect the guard's appearance and duty performance and receive constant reports on site conditions.
All of our officers have had extensive background checks by the State of Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation. All guards are drug tested and fingerprinted upon date of hire, and periodic random drug tests are given as Whittguard sees fit. Our officers receive in-depth training in access control, hazardous material awareness, and are certified in adult first aid C.P.R and A.E.D. All paper work is handed internally by Whittguard Security, including activity logs, sign-in sheets, and incident reports (copies are available upon request).
